Today has been really busy!
We started early by Cass, Jenny and Lydia going to Church - to Grace Community Church, Looe. It was really friendly and welcoming and they had a Guest speaker from America who was not only very interesting but funny too and had everyone laughing with his stories. We were made really welcome
Kayleigh and Beth had the less enviable task of saving us seats....because we had heard there was a Looe Raft Race on and we were not sure we would make it back for the 11:00am start time, the plan being to sit on the edge of the banjo pier and watch
Our luck was in and it didnt start until 3.pm and even then it was 20 minutes late while the mostly adult (mostly male) contestants threw flour and water bombs at each other and attacked rival rafts bearing super-soaker water pistols.
At 3.30ish the race started and the rafts set off from Looe Beach ....
