One Question has been Answered! The Ginger Haired Boy exists

I admit it......I was WRONG...the ginger- haired boy with the grey beanie DOES exist and he DOES live in the cottage behind....and he DOES have poker-straight ginger hair and a pretty girldfriend.

How do I know though??? because the Cornwall 2010 girls spent a day STALKING him for photos to prove it and screaming loudly. He will go home to his family and say there were these really weird girls who followed him all round Looe screaming at him...he's going to feel sooooo popular now.

Last Night - Pub Tea

We decided on tea out - seeing as we spent the lastcouple of hours tidying up and cleaning! The girls did me a card and bought me a lovely picture that was sooo like our house ...even down to the seagull outside

Thanks very much! I will treasure it!

We spent the last night in the Pub playing card games and chilling out.....the holiday seems to have gone so so so quickly. A good time was had by all tho.....maybe some of us will visit Looe again one day.

Ferry to West Looe

There is a little ferry that takes you from East Looe to West Looe and the girls took a ride over!

Posers

At West Looe there is a turret and the girls couldn't resist a pose!

Day 7 - Nelson the Seal Statue

The Nelson statue is on the 'other' side of the river in West Looe and the girls went over to see it..had to be at low tide so they could climb out to the

Ginger - Haired Boy Next Door

The girls have come up with this game...that right outside our kitchen window ..the steps to a cottage behind lead to the home of a Ginger-haired teenage boy.

I have never seen the so called ginger-haired boy. I think he doesnt exist and its a big game. They call me to the window and say cass...Cass...CASS theres the ginger-haired boy and of course he's never there.

He allegedly wears a grey beanie, he allegedly has a pretty girlfriend.

They say hes always there. Its one of these prank phantom ginger haired person next door stories and I'm not falling for it.

Day 6 Awesome Crazy Evening - Part 3 - White Water Paddling

Someone...can't remember who ...AGAIN..said lets go and see if the tide is as high on the beach and when we got there it was amazing. The Banjo Pier was almost under and the waves were huge. Some of us just paddled in the very edges of the water and the loons amongst us went further. The tide was coming in, not out.

The water was crashing into the sand creating white top swirl everywhere. The craziest ones went in right up to about thigh deep and let the white water crash over them. It was soooooo exciting.

Beth and Jenny smiling through the waves....

Those in the water were not the least bit dry ...anywhere anymore

The Banjo Pier was almost under water and the photos just don't do this justice..the waves were white and there were surfers standing up surfing on huge waves. Those who were 'paddling' in the waves were wet through completely..and those of us standing in the water's edge were literally blown backwards by the wind, stingingly full of sand! It was fantastic. Very very wet but fantastic. There were loads of surfers really far out and a crowd of locals enjoying the scene so while it was very dramatic - it felt safe

I don't think I've ever had so much fun on a beach ...fully clothed but soaked to the skin, however, the house was yards away and taking turns in the 2 large piping hot showers, changed into PJs and then the warm and dry was waiting for us.
